Tuscany is a special land, a true open museum where history and architecture are unique. Just as are the climate, the food and the landscapes. It is hard to find a region of the world that has been awarded seven Unesco world heritage wonders.
Hence the idea of proposing a tour that allows you to enjoy the most famous cities, where there are not only the most unique works of art and architecture in the world, but also small villages where time seems to have stood still and a landscape shaped by man, among rolling hills and cypress trees.
Florence, the city of Dante, with the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Church of Santa Croce, the Uffizi Palace, the works of artists such as Giotto, Brunelleschi, Botticelli and Michelangelo; Pisa, whose square is known as the Field of Miracles and famous around the world for the Pisan Romanesque style, a combination of classical motifs, early Christian, Lombard and Oriental with monuments such as the Cathedral, the Bell Tower, the Baptistery and the Cemetery; Siena, with its monuments and medieval Gothic style, is the greatest testimony of the high levels of expression achieved by its artists. Starting from the famous Piazza del Campo with its shell shape on which the Torre del Mangia and the Public Palace stand, you can admire, among other things, the masterpiece of the Majesty of Simone Martini. The cathedral contains works of art by Michelangelo, Nicola Pisano, Donatello. Not to miss is Santa Maria della Scala, the oldest hospital in the world, constructed on the ancient Via Francigena.
Your journey begins in Pisa, at the international airport.
Along the way, guests can enjoy a superb Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti Classico or savor a delicious Fiorentina or farro soup, as well as other delicacies of Tuscan cuisine, always accompanied by the local olive oil.
The trip takes you all the way to the seaside. Yes, because Tuscany is also the Tyrrhenian Sea, whose stretch of coastline offers truly unforgettable sunsets.
The return to Pisa will be the last leg of your trip.
