Florence will be the second city that you will visit, Florence has a lot of museums, palaces and churches and it is considered one of the most important artistic treasures of the world. Among the places of art and religious site in the city there are undoubtedly the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Baptistery, the Uffizi Gallery, the Bargello and the Galleria dell ‘Accademia. The churches of Santa Maria Novella and Santa Croce are then real “Art Galleries”, as well as the Laurentian Library that is an exceptional expression of the architectural genius of Michelangelo.
When you feel tired of seeing museums and art galleries, you can go outside and you’ll find that0 Florence is a nice city just to walk along the beautiful streets of the old town. Walk until you reach the Arno River, dwell on the romantic Old Bridge.
The third city is Venice, which miraculously was built on the lagoon waters, and has been enriched with unparalleled art treasures. In 1979 the whole city with all Laguna was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Are famous in the world the works of Venetian artist like Carpaccio, Bellini, Giorgione and Titian, Tintoretto and Veronese, Tiepolo and Guardi. But just as beautiful are the churches in the changing colors of the water and the buildings, with their typical tunnels arcades and loggias, with their chimneys on the roofs, in the glimpses of figures over a bridge or a street. The city is spread over 118 islands linked by 354 bridges and separated by 177 canals.
You can appreciate the beauty of the city looking out from the Sospiri Bridge along Grand Canal one of the two most important channels of the city. At the end of your stay in Venice you will visit one of the most famous islands in the lagoon: Murano Island.
