Would you like to discover two of the world’s natural wonders?  If you’re answer is yes, you can’t miss this 8 day Delta & Vic Falls tour. Starting from Livingstone in Zambia you will visit the Okavango Delta inBotswana and the mighty Victoria Falls, both on Zambia and Zimbabwe sides.
After one night spent with in Livingstone, during which you can have a first look of the Falls (also known as “The Smoke That Thunders”), you will pass the Zimbabwe border and visit the falls from the more spectacular side. You can book an activity just in Victoria Falls city, before starting to Kasane in Botswana, where you will take part in a boat cruise into the Chobe National Park.
After this unforgettable experience you will have e direct contact with animals in Chobe National Park and then in Nata, where you will meet the elephant very very close to you.
One night in Nata and then the Delta, where you can live like the people belonging to that region , moving by the Mokoro through the canals of the largest emerged delta in the world.
The visit of a Private Reserve in the Caprivi Strip in Namibia represent the last stop of the tour, before coming back in Zambia.

Hot drink early in the morning before departuring to a safari into the Chobe National Park where you can spot, amongst others, the large predators (lions, cheetahs and leopards)

4th day
Departure for the Okavango Delta (more or less 4h driving). A change of vegetation will you announce the transition zone between the Kalahari Desert and the delta area

Departure to Okavango Delta Island with off road vehicle then Mokoro (dugout canoe) to visit the deep Delta. Mokoro is a traditional transport “boat” of this part of Botswana; driven by a person located in the back, the Mokoro can transports only two passengers

Walking safari on the Delta Island discovering local fauna
Still Mokoro activities in the Okavango channels then return to the campsite

Arrival to Maun, where you have to buy the food for lunch, you will consume on the way to the Mahango Reserve, next stop of the tour

Crossing the border from Botswana to Namibia, entering in the Caprivi Strip which borders to the north with Angola and to the south with Botswana

7th day
Safari small park of Mahango Game Reserve. It’s a Reserv “off the beaten track” with a true wilderness feel. You will have the opportunity to observe roan and sable antelopes. These two species are very difficult to find in the rest of Africa. But you have the opportunity to discover also Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Wildog, Hippo, Crocodile, Warthog Baboon and Vervet Monkey. Most of the elephants are migrants, moving between Angola and the Okavango.

You should book the tour as soon as you decide to travel, due to the high request and the limited availability of beds in Nata and in Mahango Region.

Additional Information: It is strongly recommended that you purchase comprehensive personal travel insurance before you embark on your safari. Travel insurance is for your own protection and we consider it to be an essential part of modern international travel. There are a few nationalities that will require to pre arrange their entry visa to Namibia and Botswana.  Please note that if this visa is required, it will need to be a multiple entry visa and not a single entry visa.  Please check on booking this safari if you need a pre-arranged visa.
The KAZA UNIVISA is a common tourist visa for the SADC region which shall be piloted by Zambia and Zimbabwe for six (6) months.
The UNIVISA will be issued at a standard fee of US Dollar 50, cash will be required.
Validity – the KAZA UNIVISA will be valid for 30 days as long as you remain in Zimbabwe and Zambia and clients can cross into Zimbabwe/Zambia as frequently as they like within the 30 day period. It also covers those who visit Botswana for day trips through the Kazangula Borders – it will not be valid if staying in Botswana overnight, in this case you would need to purchase a new Visa. The UNIVISA cannot be extended however you can buy a new UNIVISA (up to 3 per year).
Citizens from the countries listed below shall be eligible for the KAZA UNIVISA obtainable at the eight ports of entry as stated.

For people who choice tent accommodation it will be assured an assisted camping with the participation limited to only helping with the tents.
For people who prefers lodge accommodation, they will choose the activities organized by the lodge
The tour may include one to two days extension to have more time to visit Okavango Delta Region. We suggest this solution to have time to better feel and live the delta experience.
We suggest to book the tour from April to October, but if you love bird watching it’s good all periods of the year (November to March is rain period in Caprivi, with a lot of insects).

What’s included: accommodation and meals as in the table, camping in Okavango Delta, Mokoro experience, car hire with windscreen and tyres insurance, detailed Itinerary Book, Local Operator sim card (to charge).
What is not included: meals not specified, entrance fees to the parks, fee at the border if due, safari in the parks, boat sunset cruise, activities at Victoria Falls and anything not specified, tips.

Remember: to enter in Botswana and to enter in Zimbabwe you have to pay 30 USD per person. To visit Vic Falls park you have to pay 300 USD per person

N.B.: Normally booking a safari you will pay the entrance fee to the park. The cost of 3 hours Chobe game drives and 3 hours Chobe sunset boat cruise is 25 USD + 32 USD per person (10% tips not included).
After booking the tour we will give you some suggestion to have lunch and dinner in right places.
