Although living in Windhoek, we booked a Namibian tour over the Christmas holiday through Chiara at African World Tour specifically because of her expertise and knowledge for putting together a catered plan in limited time for us and visiting family. She was brilliant! Proactive, with lots of suggestions and input, she knew booking timing needs and fantastic places and activities that we could tuck into our 6 night adventure. She secured automatic rental vehicles, one with full camping needs, and walked through the process with us to assure that we were all set to start off. Prior to that, she provided a trip packet that outlined routes, driving times, gate openings, accommodations for lodging and meal reservations as well as a bit about what we could see and do in the areas we were headed to. All of her suggestions were spot on! When we ran into weather complications – a wild flooding storm targeted the campgrounds, landing a tree on top of our car/car-top tents – Chiara was tirelessly working for us with the rental company to communicate, advocate, and confirm next step needs. We needed her very much then and she delivered! With that excitement behind us, we settled in to the rest of the planned adventures. The B&Bs and lodges we stayed at were charming, clean, and friendly. Kayaking with the seals was by far the crowd favorite! And the 4×4 dune ride along Sandwich Harbour with the views, a meal and champagne laid out on a long table was a delightful way to soak all the beauty of that area in. Chiara’s suggestions were all magical. We would highly recommend her to all who are looking to take in and explore Namibia’s amazing offerings. Thank you, Chiara!!!
